Great for moderate climates, February 6, 2012 - By  Sherry Menton (Cedar Park, TX United States)   These are my "winter" shoes here in Texas. I sized them using thick hiking socks, so I can wear them with my hand-knit socks when it's too cold to wear Vibram FiveFingers. Maybe they wouldn't be very warm if you wore thin white socks a la traditional Mary Janes, but with nice wool hand-knits they're warm enough for anything except near freezing inclement weather.The sole on these isn't nearly as touchy-feely with the ground as FiveFingers, but otoh if you're used to barefooting, these are an order of magnitude better than wearing klunky traditional soles in cold weather.
