Good but not great., March 14, 2011 - By  MissGreen (Happyville, USA) I think that I would of been just as happy buying the tennis shoes alone. They are more versatile and comfortable.Update July 2011. I am not really a fan of these shoes. They are the last ones I go for. I have been much happier with the Pace glove tennis shoe style. I can't get over my toe nails catching on the seam.

As always, I got incredibly speedy delivery from Amazon of the item and was excited to try on these shoes. They were a perfect fit and comfortable right out of the box with NO socks on either. I wore them continuously from that point on, although I did purchase a lightweight shoe insert made to help with arch support. That made a nice difference.The reason for my 4 star rating is this: by accidence I got an oil stain on the light blue fabric. I thought alright they are fabric and was told they could be washed so I immediately rubbed the stain with a pre-wash and then rubbed it with detergent. That didn't work so I used a stain-out pen. After repeated washing the result was the black edging had bled into the blue fabric and now I have a worse stain which prohibits me from wearing them for good. My advice is to spray with a fabric protector before using as the shoes are definitely made of fabric and light blue does show dirt.
